McCauley Global Consulting Ltd ("MGC", "we", "us", "our") operates mccauleyglobalconsulting.com (the "Site"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit the Site or submit an enquiry.

We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our ICO registration reference is ZC002180.

Who we are

McCauley Global Consulting Ltd

Email: john@mccaule-consulting.com

What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry or lead form on the Site, we collect: Name, Email address, Job title, Company, Message.

We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technology on the Site beyond what's strictly necessary for it to function (see our Cookie Policy).

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry (lawful basis: legitimate interest), and to send you marketing communications about MGC's services only if you've ticked the opt-in box on the form (lawful basis: consent).

You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time by emailing john@mccaule-consulting.com or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Who we share it with

Our website and its forms are built and hosted on Base44 (a Wix.com company). Base44 processes form submissions on our behalf as a data processor and may store data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to you, and for up to 24 months afterwards if there's been no further contact, after which it's deleted or anonymised. If you become a client, data relevant to that engagement is retained in line with our standard commercial and accounting record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict our processing, withdraw consent at any time (for marketing), and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you think we've mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email john@mccaule-consulting.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
